BUYER BEWARE. Bought ez500 tool in January and it will no longer power at all. Not sure if battery died or motherboard fried. After communicating and sending serial number and video as requested i was told in a one line email "must return for repair". I asked for a return label, return number, address, attention to and contact information to whomever I would be sending my 4 month old scanner to. I also asked if I'd be responsible for paying anything. Only answer I received was

"The repair cost is responsible by our company
You just need to pay the cost sending back to us"

I'm sorry but I have owned many scanners and diagnostic tools such as Autel, OTC, Snapon etc. I've never had one fail this fast and I've never not had shipping paid for, a return number for tracking and a contact for warranty. So I'll just send my $1000 tool to China because there are no North American authorized repair facilities and cross my fingers?! I don't think so. Decent tool at best but not worth the hassle if things go wrong and clearly they do in less that 6 months.....very disappointed.

Hola amigos tengo un pequeño problema con mi escaner ez500, resulta ser que le realice un reset, luego procedi a instalar el software, se instalo muy bien pero veo que en diagnosis de vehiculos asiaticos no esta instalado el programa para realizar el diagnostico a los vehiculos Kia, y anteriormente si tenia instalado este programa.... tambien se borro el programa de diagnostico de sensores de presion de neumaticos, otro detalle es que la otra ves fui a diagnosticar una reanault megane y kangoo el programa siempre se detuvo y no pude realizar los diagnosticos, sera que me pueden ayudar a solventar este problema? gracias
